Pecah beling, also known as conehead, is the characterizing ingredient of Re-Claim. Pecah beling is a plant that has been used conventionally for the treatment of people with high blood sugar levels (hyperglycemia). Together with banaba, which also has a reputation as a natural remedy for hyperglycemia, Re-Claim makes for a potent brew that will assist you in regulating your blood sugar levels. Specifically, a compound known as corosolic acid has been found to have an effect on the transportation of sugar in the body.
Another function of corosolic acid is that it encourages the body to use the sugar stored in the body as fuel as well as preventing too much storage of excess sugar. This may have a positive effect on the body’s ability to manage your weight.
For the herbal range offered by Living Tea, you will find that we limit the number of ingredients in our blend. On top of that, each blend also has a characterizing ingredient which distinguishes the use of each of our herbal teas. All other ingredients are added to complement the feature ingredient by enhancing the flavour, fragrance as well as the therapeutic effect of the tea.
Directions for use:
- For maximum flavour and effect, bring fresh cold water to the boil.
- Use 1 teabag per cup of boiling water and allow to steep for 5-7 minutes before removing. Adjust the flavour by the length of infusion.
- If desired a slice of lemon may be added to Re-Claim Tea while it steeps.
- Milk or sweetening is not required.
